This will be a shorter entry than normal, as not much class time was had this previous week due to Columbus day etc.
This is just a small update to say that I am inching ever closer to being able to perform the actual experiments on the mouse livers. The current challenge present is finding the correct antibodies for the proteins upon which we will be performing a Western Blot. This may not sound difficult, but not many people have done similar experiments, and as a result, there is very little information about what antibodies are used for specific Cytochromes in mice. We currently have two studies ahead of us to read and search for the correct information, so hopefully we will be able to begin experimenting within a week.
I promise next week’s post will be longer and contain more information about the actual experiments should I get to actually do them.
